KAFFA ROASTERY

Well December and the winter weather came after all. Okay okey it is not really December yet but we here at Djäkne would like to showcase the roaster for next month. So with no further ado…

THE ROASTER

The best ideas start with a cup of coffee.
In 2007, Svante and his friends, a bunch of real coffee fanatics, came up with a mind-expanding idea. “We in Finland already drink the most coffee in the world. Could we also drink the best coffee in the world?” They believe the answer to this is yes and it is thier mission to prove it.

From a question to a dream and a mission to change Finnish coffee culture one cup at a time. A popcorn machine was acquired for the first toaster. The congested ones made wild experiments that the more experienced ones would not go to. The huts also hurt and coffee suffered. Once, even the entire roastery caught fire. To make the best coffee in the world, they need to ask questions about what good means to them. They look behind the bean. They travel around the world, meet farmers and be inspired by their passion and respect for nature. They bring their best beans to Finland, and they roast coffee in Punavuori, which shakes our consciousness.
